20% more students have accepted school places compared to the same time last year.
For another year, Oslofjord Folkehøgskole sees positive results in the statistics on student numbers. As of 1 June, there were 20% more students taking up school places for the autumn compared to the same date last year. 60 students have confirmed that they will start in the autumn.
– This is the third year in a row that we have seen an increase in the number of students, and that is very gratifying! The result of hard work in many different areas in recent years is showing results, says principal Kristina Sletten Andersen.
Accepts more students
There are currently 60 students who will start in the autumn, but applications are still coming in, and it is still possible to get a place on some lines.
– Last year it wasn’t until July that we passed 60, so it’s fun to be a month ahead this year. But just apply! We have vacant places on several of our 5 lines, says the principal.
Just apply! We have available places on several of our 5 lines.
There are the most places on the lines Social work in Oslo, Vocal and Music production. It’s getting pretty full at Design klaer Oslo and Travel and global understanding, but the school accepts a couple more students on these lines as well.
In 2020, there were 47 busy students at the same time, while last year there were 50. From experience, there are many who apply in the summer months as well, so it will be exciting to see the final number of students for the school year 2022/2023 in August.
