50% more applications have come in this year than last year!
This year 50% more applications have been received per 31 January than the previous year.
” It is great fun to see such an increase. We have worked hard to grow over the past 2-3 years, and this gives us extra motivation to continue to deliver quality to our students every single day”, says the principal, Kristina Sletten Andersen.
All folk colleges admit students for the next school year on 1 February. This means that the vast majority of young people send applications right up until midnight the day before to have the greatest chance of getting a place.
Many years since the last time
It has been more than 6 years since there were such high numbers of applicants on the same date. Most of the applicants have now been offered a school place next year, but it is still possible to apply for a school place for the 2022/2023 school year: Application form
“Now it will be primarily exciting to see how many people answer yes to a place in the next few weeks. Responses are already pouring in, so we are happy about that”, says the headmaster.
